Here it is folks, my first official Q+A episode. The timing just felt right. So I reached out to you, my wonderful listeners, for questions in this weeks Q+A episode. This was such a fun way to connect with you guys and it’s so amazing to hear what you are interested in hearing more about.
To keep it more conversational [and because I thought it would be fun] I decided to recruit someone very close to me, to join in on this episode. You guys get to meet the lovely Mr. Liveng Proof – aka my amazing husband Michael. I really appreciated his energy in this episode because you guys asked some pretty serious questions, and he was the perfect sounding board for me to answer these questions. He also added some solid anecdotes.
If your question wasn’t answered – fear not – I am always available to answer Q’s over in the Liveng Proof Pod Squad: the private facebook group for listeners of the podcast! This group is less about me and more about providing you lovely people with a place to connect with one another. I want this to be a place where you already have a ton in common with others. Cause chances are if you’re a fan of the podcast you’ll probably be into similar things.
THIS EPISODE IS GREAT FOR ANYONE:
Who has struggled or is currently struggling with an eating disorder
Wants to share about their ED with a new partner, without scaring them off
Is curious about how to navigate diet culture without starting a crusade
Has dealt with exercise addiction
Struggles with taking rest days
IN THIS EPISODE WE DISCUSS:
Q: Any suggestions for navigating sharing a history of an ED with a new potential partner (hopefully without freaking them out/ scaring them off)?
Q: Now that I’m more in tune with what constitutes “diet culture” without trying to start a crusade how does one fight against the industry and try to make things better for themselves and those around them?
Q: What if any can you do for someone you suspect might be going through an ED? As I’ve gotten older I’ve recognized parts of my past that while not probably a full on ED I had some tendencies toward that spectrum, Yet I definitely know the last thing I would have wanted was someone either offering me a hand or telling me to go see a therapist
Q: Ways to handle rest days for people who find it challenging to 1. Take a rest day and 2. Once taking the rest day not feel the need to work out or be anxious be you didnt work out
Q: How did you overcome your exercise addiction? The steps you took to get there?
Q: What is one way that you have changed as a person in the past year?
Q: What do you use under your eyes or for you skin to look so awake and radiant?
Q: How do YOU grow your audience
